In 2024, American Place and its team members remain dedicated to supporting local community development through key pillars: volunteerism, service, and donations. Our efforts focus on a wide range of causes, including military and veteran support, education, and minority-focused initiatives. To date, American Place has supported and donated to over 50 unique organizations across 12 townships and 8 chambers of commerce. Our contributions have impacted initiatives such as cancer walks, beach and garden cleanups, coat drives, and more through our American Place Cares program. Notably, over 75% of our donations have directly benefited nonprofit organizations in Lake County, Illinois, including:

        • Save-A-Pet

        • American Cancer Society

        • United Way of Lake County

        • Midwest Veterans Closet

        • The Salvation Army USA
